Hi, I’m Michelle
I’m the maker behind MISH CERAMICS, a small independent ceramics studio in Karmiel, in the Galilee, northern Israel.
I create handmade, one-of-a-kind and small-batch ceramics — pieces designed to be used, touched and enjoyed as part of everyday life.
I’m drawn to simple forms, tactile surfaces and glazes that develop their own character in the kiln. I love that handmade ceramics are never completely identical. Every piece carries small variations that make it uniquely its own.
Made by Hand in the Galilee
I live and create in the Galilee, surrounded by hills, changing light, quiet landscapes and the slower rhythm of life in northern Israel. That sense of place naturally finds its way into my work.
Ceramics gives me a way to slow down, work with my hands and turn clay into objects that are both useful and personal. Each piece goes through the entire process in my studio — shaping, refining, glazing and firing — with plenty of room for the material and the kiln to have their own say.
MISH CERAMICS is about objects that feel warm, honest and lived with. Bowls, serving pieces and small everyday objects made individually rather than mass-produced.
Made by hand in the Galilee. Made to be used.
